Callaway Gardens, Dec/2016

Recently we went to Callaway Gardens to see the Christmas lights.

First off, we had to visit the Christmas Village, to see if there were any arts-n-crafts we couldn't live without.

Then after we bought our tickets, and the sun set, it was off to get on a tram to see the lights.

Now I'm in no way, shape, or form a professional photographer, or even a decent amateur photographer, so these photos I took are poor, at best.  (And they're the best of the many, many pics I took!)  But if you use your imagination you **may** get an approximation of what the Christmas Lights were like in person.

We were on the tram for about an hour, but all good things eventually come to an end.  Here we are walking back to our car in the darkness.

The kids loved every minute of it!  But there are two things to bear in mind should you decide to make the trip to Callaway Gardens to see the lights:

1.  It ain't cheap!  Those tickets are gonna cost ya a pretty penny!

2.  It's COLD!  I don't care if Callaway is in Georgia, the "warm" part of the continental USA.  When that wind comes across the lake into those open trams, you're gonna freeze.  Bring lots of warm clothing to bundle up in.
